Burgenland strengthens families: quality of life and purchasing power increased!

A better future for families in Burgenland

In Burgenland, families are increasingly supported to improve their quality of life. This is done through various measures that aim to strengthen the financial well -being of families. From free kindergartens all year round to free tutoring and financial support for activities such as Schikurse and sports days - Burgenland is committed to supporting families in the best possible way.

State Councilor Daniela Winkler emphasized that Burgenland has become a pioneer in family policy in recent years. Compared to other federal states, Burgenland offers extensive financial aid for families. The support includes a wide variety of aspects, such as school benefits, grants for semester abroad and holiday care.

By implementing measures such as the rental cost and heat price lid as well as the energy cost subsidy, the purchasing power of the Burgenlanders could be significantly increased. Burgenland takes second place in terms of purchasing power throughout Austria, which enables families in the country to afford more than anywhere else.

A particularly outstanding educational measure is free tutoring for students. This possibility was the first state in Burgenland and achieved great success in the past school year. Activities such as sports and project days are also financially supported in order to enable all children to participate.

With the free "Burgenland Family Card", families have access to a variety of discounts and offers. These measures show the clear commitment of the Burgenland state government to create and ensure the best possible conditions for families.
