According to the trade association, sales of around 400 million euros are expected nationwide this year. The trade association has determined by the consumer check that 98 percent of the respondents are informed about the campaign days. They have already used 70 percent or plan to do this for the first time this year. Women and people under the age of 40 are particularly interested in these shopping days.

In terms of expenses, the Burgenlanders are on average 263 euros for Black Friday and Cyber ​​Monday actions. This value is just below the Austrian average of 265 euros. Interestingly, 80 percent plan to buy Christmas presents - as many than ever before. Inpatient trade has reacted to the increasing popularity of Black Friday, as over half of the respondents indicate that they want to buy both online and on site.
