In the night of Wednesday, May 21, 2025, there was an armed incident in Reith in the Alpbach Valley, Kufstein, Tyrol. At 3:39 a.m., two unknown perpetrators blew up an ATM in a bank there. The explosion led to a large search that was initiated by the Tyrol State Police Directorate. This search is used for patrols, dog squadrons, drones and a police helicopter.
