Visitors have the opportunity to watch the animals daily between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and to take tours through the bear forest.
commitment to bears in emergency
felix 'story is part of the greater commitment of Four paws , which has been committed to bears since 1998. Since then, the organization has uncovered numerous grievances in bear farming and is trying to improve the housing conditions for brown bears in Europe. Bears like Felix should not only be saved out of predicament, but also find a safe and species -appropriate home in protection centers.
The organization is currently also committed to saving the bears Tim and Mici, which have to live under poor conditions in Slovenia. Felix 'arrival shows how important such rescue activities are, since two bears have already died last year. Four paws appealed to the owners of Mici and Tim to give these bears a chance of a better life.
