Amazon quits the access program: What does that mean for customers?
Amazon announces the end of its popular "Prime Wardrobe" sample service, which enabled Prime members to try clothing comfortably at home. As of January 31, 2025, this service will be discontinued worldwide. From now on, customers can no longer try on their textiles before buying. The reason for this step is economic considerations and the company's decision to rely on artificial intelligence (AI) in order to develop virtual rehearsals and personalized size recommendations. With this change,Amazon pursues the goal of reducing the return costs that can arise from damaged or dirty items.
