300 days of free HPV protection: JVP fights against cancer for the youth!

The young People's Party (JVP) has successfully introduced a decisive measure against cancer caused by humane papilloma viruses (HPV): Since July 1, 2024, HPV protection has been free of charge for all young people up to the age of 30. Claudia Plakolm, chairwoman of the JVP and Federal Minister of Europe, Integration and family, said: "The HPV protection saves life. This protection will be free of charge for everyone in the next 300 days. 300 days are 300 days against cancer, we use them!" This means that young people have a valuable way to protect themselves preventively and minimize possible risks.

Free HPV vaccination and education

The offer of free HPV vaccination applies not only to girls, but also to boys. As the JVP emphasizes, protection against HPV can contribute decisively to cancer prevention. HPV vaccination has been free of charge for the age of 21 for a year, and the need to clarify this topic is getting bigger. In the coming February, the JVP is planning to provide young people comprehensively about the HPV protection offering to ensure that as many people as possible experience and use them. The fight against cancer is an important concern, and the JVP is continuously committed to extensive information and access to such health offers, as reports. With this campaign, the young people's party underlines its responsibility towards youth and shows how important preventive measures are in the health sector. The aim is to increase awareness of the HPV vaccination and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to protect themselves in time. Such initiatives are essentials, because only informed citizens can actively take advantage of the health offers available to them, emphasizes
