The vision of Leopold Figl

Leopold Figl, an outstanding personality in Austrian history, is known for his striking face and his warm temperament. His strong trust in God and his belief in the freedom of Austria played a crucial role in the recovery of independence in 1955. On the occasion of his 60th birthday, the Leopold Figl scholarships were launched to support the vocational training and further education of young people from all social classes.

These scholarships are not only a financial relief for students, but also recognition for their commitment and performance. The application is possible until December 31 of the respective year, whereby the programs support support for pupils for agricultural and higher vocational schools as well as study start bonuses for students in the first year.
