20 years of senior residence Schloss Liechtenstein: An anniversary full of life!
On June 6, 2025, the Senior Castle Liechtenstein celebrated an important anniversary: 20 years of care lived in a historical ambience. The facility, which was taken over in 2005, is located in a listed castle that once served as a summer residence of the princely family of Liechtenstein. It currently offers 115 residents: a home inside and is almost fully utilized almost continuously. The residence combines long -term care and assisted living. Of the 69 care places, 45 are funded by the state of Lower Austria. There are also 51 apartments that enable the residents: to live independently, while they still have access to extensive services, including 24-hour care staff. The anniversary celebration on June 5 took place in the Habsgut in Maria Enzersdorf and gathered over 140 guests. Pastor Toni Faber blessed the house, while the speeches by Mayor DI Johannes Zeiner, Vice Mayor Michaela Haidvogel and Member of the Landtag, Mag. Marlene Zeidler-Beck paid tribute to the festive occasion.
