13-year-old injured in brutal raid-culprit!
A violent attack on a 13-year-old adolescent occurred on May 22, 2025 on Favoritenstrasse. At around 5:45 p.m., a 25-year-old man attacked the boy and stole his mobile phone and cash. The young person suffered bruises and skin abrasions, which were immediately taken care of by the paramedics of the Vienna career rescue before he was transported to the hospital. The victim stated to know the attacker superficially, which indicates a possible history between the two. Detailed interrogations are still pending.
A passerby who had observed the robbery informed the police immediately and followed the alleged perpetrator. This could ultimately be provided by the officials in Senefeldergasse. A small amount of drugs was found during the man's search. The 25-year-old is now in police custody, while the State Criminal Police Office has taken over the further investigation. The violent crime, which increased by 1.5 % in Germany last year, has achieved the highest level since 2007, which shows worrying tendencies.
drug trafficking and drug crime
There was a large -scale campaign against drug crime in Germany shortly after the attack, in which the customs investigation office Frankfurt, in cooperation with the State Criminal Police Office (LKA), was able to ensure over 200 kilograms of amphetamine and considerable amounts of other drugs. These searches took place in four camouflaged bunkers in Frankfurt and the surrounding counties. More than 350 kilograms of marijuana and cash of 50,000 euros were also secured. The arrested alleged dealers, whose age is between 22 and 29 years old, are now in custody and are faced with the accusation of gang -like drug trade. The nationwide police crime statistics (PKS) 2024 shows that drug crime has decreased by a total of 34.2 %, which is primarily due to cannabis partialization. Regardless of this, the numbers on certain drugs such as cocaine and methamphetamine rose. The violent crime, on the other hand, increased, which reflects the increase in suspicious children and young people. In 2024, 13,755 children and 31,383 young people were registered as suspect, a worrying trend that could be related to the attacks such as the 13-year-old
The updated numbers suggest that the problem of violent crime in Germany is often reinforced by complex social and economic circumstances. While the clarification rate remains constant at around 58 %, it turns out that great attention should be paid to prevention and combating the causes of crime.
In the current situation, it remains to be seen which further consequences from the attack and the drug finds must be drawn. The investigation is in full swing and it is expected that new knowledge will come to light, which may give deeper insights into the structures of the perpetrators and their motives.
