Redesign of the university road: More space for cyclists and pedestrians!
Universitätsstraße, 1010 Wien, Österreich - A comprehensive modernization project in Vienna has been completed! The university road, the important traffic axis between the inner city and Alsergrund, has now been equipped with excellent wheel connections and numerous new green areas. On the occasion of the completion of the structural changes that were necessary as part of the subway expansion, the planning councilor Ulli Sima and the public councilor Peter Hanke celebrated the official opening of the redesigned street. The expansion of the university road, which also included the laying of the tracks, now enables safe bike paths and generous pedestrian zones.
