Kalvarienberg 5, 8630 Mariazell, Österreich - Peter Lindmoser, the owner of the "Hotel Monttyria", which was only opened two years ago, continues his plans for the Mariazell region. He has acquired the traditional Mariazell brewery, which has stood for Austrian inn culture for over 350 years. With this takeover, which took place in 2024, Lindmoser wants to expand the gastronomy offer with another important component. "For our guests, we pursue an uncompromising strategy that includes the entire holiday experience," he said. The brewery, which was first mentioned in 1673, is now being revived after an intensive renovation phase.

The renovation of the Mariazell brewery aims to present a contemporary interpretation of the traditional tavern culture, coupled with first -class regional cuisine. Helga Lindmoser, the head of the hotel, emphasizes the importance of quality and regionality. This includes modern prepared classics such as veal schnitzel and onion roast, all with fresh ingredients from the area. The Lindmoser family also offers its guests a unique overall experience that is characterized by small attentions and the beauty of the area. Already on November 21, 2024 the brewery celebrated its reopening.
