Niederösterreich, Österreich - On April 18, 2025, the Lower Austrian Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner focuses on the importance of Nature experiences in the Region. Already in spring the Lower Austria-Card access to numerous excursion destinations that highlight the beauty of nature. This card is not only intended for tourists, but also for locals who want to discover new nature experiences.

With over 40 different excursion destinations, the Lower Austria card aims to address people of all ages. The most common leisure activities include hiking, cycling and various natural experiences. Managing Director Michael Duscher emphasizes that the card is not only an invitation to natural connoisseurs, but also to all those who are interested in ecological contexts. The impressive excursion destinations also include the Kittenberger adventure gardens , which are known for their magnificent garden art. There are also numerous other nature and animal parks, experience and show gardens as well as fascinating fossil worlds. Under the highlights there are special exhibitions such as "Animals of the Night" in the Museum Lower Austria and the tree top path that offer unique perspectives on nature.

The region also offers animal experiences in numerous zoo, including the Zoo Stadt Haag and the Buchenberg adventure park. Visitors are invited to observe wild animals in their natural habitat and to recover in the various nature parks such as Blockheide, Sparbach or Hohe Wand.
