Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - On December 2, 2024, Rundfunk and Telekom Regulating GmbH (RTR Media) published the first funding commitments for the newly introduced audio podcast funding. This funding was launched in July 2024 as part of a legal mandate and aims to support the growing importance of audio podcasts in Austria. Up to 500,000 euros are provided annually to promote high -quality and information -rich podcasts in the areas of information, culture, education, science and digital competence.
