Gang crime in Prignitz: Food stolen from the market!

In the Prignitz, the police registered two criminal incidents, both of which have to do with considerable theft. On Friday evening around 10:30 p.m., four perpetrators penetrated the goods acceptance of a shopping market in Wittenberge. There they stole food from an unattended delivery vehicle. An attentive witness noticed the suspicious activities and immediately alerted the police. When they arrived, the officials were able to arrest two of the suspects that the parts of the stolen goods had in their pockets. The other two perpetrators were later taken up at their homes, where they handed over the rest of the thief. The criminal police have now launched an investigation into band theft, as the Nordkurier reported.

But that's not all: On Monday morning, shortly before 4 a.m., an ATM in mountains, near Putlitz, was blown up. Residents heard the explosions and informed the police. During the first calls there was a second detonation. The machine, which was placed near a supermarket, was completely devastated. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The crime scene was cordoned off far, while the perpetrators fled undetected. It is currently still unclear whether the explosion was carried out with the intention of stealing money. The adjacent supermarket was closed on Monday to clarify the situation, such as rbb24 reported.
