With an impressive sum of 10,000 euros, the bank also supports numerous charitable projects in the Tirschenreuth district in 2024. A total of 9,950 euros already flowed to clubs and institutions that are involved in the areas of art, culture, environment, social affairs and sport. The pre -Christmas tradition of the Sparkasse will continue this year. "Social commitment is an indispensable cornerstone of our society and today makes a significant contribution to social cohesion," emphasizes Hans-Jörg Schön, chairman of the board of the Sparkasse Oberpfalz Nord. The support extends not only on charitable institutions, but also to projects that strengthen the cultural and sporting identity of the region. In the Advent season, an additional 7,050 euros were now handed over to ten other clubs and institutions, which increases the anticipation for the holidays!

In the course of 2024, four clubs were already supported with a total of 2,950 euros on the proposal of the first mayor of the city of Kemnath, Roman Schäffler.
