Swedish court condemned woman for the enslavement of Yazidis in Syria

Before the victims were held by the woman, they lived as slaves among various male ISIS members. The court described the living conditions as "very poor, without food and clean water". The women were exposed to "systematic rape" by the male ISIS members, the court continued.

The victims were then brought to the woman's house, where they were held and abused for up to five months. Then she helped hand over the victims to other ISIS members for enslavement.
Some of the victims were able to be freed from smugglers a few months after their stay in the woman's house, but three of the children stayed in captivity for years. A young woman has not yet been found, added the court.
