Culture impulse: young and old dance for better cooperation in East Tyrol!
Dölsach, Österreich - In East Tyrol, the connection between young and old is celebrated in a special way, because the Interreg project "Culture ImpuSe: Culture for All" has launched an exciting series of events. Under the motto "Movement café of the generations", people of all ages are invited to spend time together and to exchange memories. A highlight was the dance café "Dancing before and today", which took place on February 28th in the Tirolerhof in Dölsach. As dolomitenstadt.at reported, participants aged two to 89 took part in this lively event organized by the regional management East Tyrol (RMO). Under the guidance of dance teacher Armin Vogrincsics, the guests experienced a summer afternoon full of music and dance, which combined the generations.
continuation of the event series
This initiative was launched by several committed organizers, including Simone Ortner-Trebo (RMO) and members of the Dean's Youth Lienz and the Selba Group Dölsach. The participation of firmlings that used this cross -generational afternoon as part of their social engagement in the company preparation was particularly gratifying. "You can hardly imagine anything better than combine generations with music and dance," said an enthusiastic participant. This underlines how important such events are for intergenerational exchange.
The series will continue on March 11th in the Sillian cultural center with another dance morning. Card games are also on the program: On April 9th and May 9th, the so-called “Charts earlier and today” events are scheduled in the parish home of Sillian and in the Tirolerhof Dölsach. Here classics such as waders and modern games like Uno can be tried out, which should further promote intergenerational exchange, as osttirol-heute.at .
