News from the music and art school Achern-Oberkirch
A new offer for the youngest will start in September in the Achern-Oberkirch music and art school. The school year program now includes all courses in the elementary area for the first time that aims at early music training. Loose parent-child groups for babies from 5 months up to children up to 4 years of age create a creative environment to experience music together. Mayor Klaus Muttach emphasizes the importance of these programs: "The city of Achern supports the music school generously" by taking over 40% of the teaching costs. Registrations are also possible in instrumental lessons. These initiatives not only promote early musical education, but also the concentration and creativity of the children, an aspect that Jakob Scherzinger, the head of the music school, underlines.
