digital challenges and solutions
The concept of digital humanism, which was launched in 2019 by Hannes Werthner, focuses on the need to make digital technologies responsible. Werthner in his work addresses the progressive digitization as well as artificial intelligence, including their possibilities and serious defects.
In this context, the book "Digital Humanism. On Digitization and Artificial Intelligence" was published, which is published by Picus Verlag. It has a size of 160 pages and has been available for 24 euros since January 2025. The book is based on a Viennese lecture that took place on March 18, 2024, and was presented in the old smithy in Vienna on January 24, 2025.
The debates about digital humanism show the great challenges associated with progressive digitization. It is important to rethink both the social and the technological framework in order to shape a decent digital future.
