Delorean from Back to the Future for 750 euros in Lüdenscheid auctioned!

In a spectacular event in Lüdenscheid, a "Delorean", which seems to come from the cult film "Back to the Future", was auctioned. On November 9, the futuristic work of art changed hands for an impressive 750 euros. The silver -colored "Inova Turbo", which previously served as an eye -catcher in the foyer of the museums, was auctioned in favor of the Bergstadt Foundation.

The auction was the highlight of the "Night of Culture" and was led by the Brügger gallery owner Detlev Kümmel. Framed by a rousing choral singing and singer-songwriter pop, the event attracted numerous visitors. The first bidder, Walter "Waldi" Lehnertz, a dealer from the popular show "Bares for Rares", opened the auction with a bid of 80 euros. Ultimately, Holger Moeser from the city development company Lüdenscheid was awarded the contract for the no longer mobile vehicle, which is equipped with a VW Scirocco II from the 1980s.

The art object will be used at various events in Lüdenscheid in the future. The revenue of the auction goes to the Bergstadt Foundation, which is committed to receiving the Lüdenscheider Schützenhalle. The auction was accompanied by colored light and fog, which gave the Inova an impressive atmosphere. The gospel choir Heavens Gate and the singer-songwriter Matthias Held ensured an unforgettable musical start, while the oratorio choir concluded the evening with a reference to November 9th.
