Fire brigade saves Vienna: Young robbery attempt ends with arrest!

Kagraner Platz, 1220 Wien, Österreich - in Vienna 22nd district, on April 13, 2025, attempted robbery occurred, in which firefighters bravely intervented and a passerby. The suspect, a 15-year-old boy from Bulgaria, had threatened a passerby on Kagraner in one fell swoop and asked for cash. Despite minor injuries, the victim successfully defended himself against the attacker.

The Vienna professional fire brigade happened to become aware of the incident and stepped in immediately. The 15-year-old suspect initially fled into his nearby apartment, but was later arrested by the Wega officials in his apartment. He had only been released from custody ten minutes before the attack after being suspected of another robbery.
