On Saturday afternoon, at 1:20 p.m., a shocking incident occurred on Hanseller Strasse. Two motorcyclists got into a treacherous situation on their trip from Altenberge to Greven and slipped into a ditch. The result? A seriously injured 61-year-old man from Haltern am See and a 60-year-old man from Altenberge with minor injuries. They were immediately transported to the nearest hospitals with ambulances!

According to the first information, the mischief passed in a curve. The two motorcyclists could no longer brake and slid into the ditch due to a dangerous liquid on the road - probably vehicle oil. This not only had fatal consequences for the drivers, but also caused big problems for the traffic police: Hanseller Straße had to be completely closed for about two hours to record the accident and remove the danger site.
