Customs discovers 26 kilos of ketamine: This is how a driver wanted to go to Italy!

Already last night there was a dramatic incident on the 81 Autobahn near Geisingen. Collists of the main customs office Singen crossed the plans of a smart driver who was in possession of over 26 kilograms ketamine - worth 790,000 euros! The driver, on the go from the Netherlands to friends in Milan, only revealed the little helpful information that he has no drugs or cash.

The customs officials were suspicious - the man looked visibly nervous. A clever move followed: a vehicle control was arranged! What they discovered was amazed even the most experienced customs officers: a large, supposedly closed package in the trunk, which was declared as a dietary supplement with a peach taste, turned out to be a huge amount of ketamine. Instead of iced tea, the customs officers found the dangerous intoxicant that has an incredible value of around 790,000 euros in street sales.

Fast success for customs investigation

The enforcing confiscation of the ketamine provided another blow to illegal drug trafficking - and the driver was temporarily arrested. The Stuttgart customs investigation office now takes over the further clarification of the case. The legal consequences are clear: Ketamine counts as a psychotropic substance and the trade is strictly prohibited in accordance with the new law on psychoactive substances. Physical integrity and security have the highest priority for the customs officers!

It remains to be seen how the case goes further and what other connections could result from the investigation. One thing is certain: drug dealers do not have it easy in Germany - the customs officers are alert!
