Wild vandalism series: wheel screws loosened - vehicle drivers in danger!

A special kind of special kind exposes dangerous machinations in Ostrach, where between 19 and 24 October 2024 was manipulated on parked vehicles on Pfullendorfer Straße. Unknown perpetrators loosened the wheel screws on a total of several cars and also stole valve lids from the tires. Shocking scenes took place when two vehicle drivers became aware of the sudden, unstable driving behavior of their cars while driving. Only with the greatest happiness they were spared from a possible accident and not lost a single bike! The police are now dependent on witnesses who have made conspicuous observations in the said period. Information can be reported to the Pfullendorf police station on 07552/20160.

In another alarming incident, a 26-year-old driver of a Citroën overturned on Friday evening on Landesstraße 194, while driving from Ostrach to Pfullendorf. In a dangerous left -hand bend, he lost control of his vehicle, came off the street and landed in the ditch. Fortunately, the driver was only slightly injured and had to be hospitalized for treatment. The rescue of the car caused property damage of around 10,000 euros. Another chapter in the list of accidents on the streets of the region!
