On Monday afternoon there was a shocking incident around 2:45 p.m.: A 24-year-old woman collided with her Dacia on Untermühlaustraße with the VW of a 75-year-old man. The older driver was forced to slow down because of a red ampellaver, and the young woman noticed too late that she was going after him directly.
The VW driver and his passenger suffered minor injuries and were immediately taken to a hospital as a precaution. The Dacia driver, who had her one-year-old daughter in the back seat, was also hospitalized with minor injuries-but the child was not injured! Because of the terrible accident, both vehicles had to be towed. The police estimate the property damage to around 20,000 euros - a bitter sum that the drivers concerned certainly did not expect.
