The latter had lost control of his vehicle and had collided with an oncoming car. Fortunately, everyone involved, including three occupants of the other vehicle and the person who caused the accident, were only slightly injured. The driver was brought to the Hunsrück Clinic in Simmern for further examination. The result was a complete blocking of the junction for the duration of the accident recording.

In the same time, this situation led to a traffic jam on the B50, which caused another slight traffic accident by driving up on a braking vehicle. However, medical care was not necessary here either, and the traffic problems had no effect on the nearby Hahn Airport.

Another incident occurred on the same day in the parking lot of the Aldi market in Kirchberg between 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. A white Opel Corsa parked there, which was damaged on the back right fender. The person who caused the accident then fled from the scene of the accident without permission without taking care of regular damage processing. The police call on possible witnesses to provide information on the course or the fleeting driver.

In the night from October 19 to October 20, 2024, the P2 parking lot at Hahn Airport was the scene of several property damage to vehicles. In these incidents, both license plates and windshield wipers were removed and damaged. Since an Oktoberfest was celebrated in the immediate vicinity, the call is aimed at witnesses from the event to report and inform the Simmern police inspection.
