Accidents in the Rems-Murr district: roundabout and right of way disregarded!

Aalen (ots)-In the Rems-Murr district there were several traffic accidents on Monday, which caused both damage to property and a little excitement. The incidents occurred in different areas of the circle and highlighted the importance of traffic safety.

The first accident occurred at 10:45 a.m. in the roundabout at the intersection between Winnender Straße and Beinsteiner Straße. An 87-year-old Volkswagen driver collided with a 73-year-old BMW driver. The collision left damage of around 10,000 euros. The Volkswagen was no longer ready to drive after the accident and had to be towed.

The same morning, around 7 a.m., another accident occurred on Waiblinger Berg. A 45-year-old VW driver disregarded the right of 25-year-old Mercedes driver when he added to the K1911. The collision led to total damage to both vehicles, the repair costs of which are estimated at around 30,000 euros. Fortunately, both drivers remained unharmed, but a towing service was also required here.

In addition, the police had to examine a case of accident escape. Between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, a stranger damaged a Toyota parked on Friedensstrasse. The damage amounts to around 2,000 euros. The police in Winnenden asks for information and can be reached on 07195/6940.
