Trio in Schkopau endangered passengers on the platform!

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the Federal Police Inspection Magdeburg became aware of a dangerous situation at Schkopau train station at around 3:50 p.m. A train driver of the approaching regional express noticed several people who were in the immediate vicinity of the train tracks during the train driving. These ran parallel to the soundproofing wall and finally crossed a track, which could have ended in a possibly fatal situation.

The federal police were immediately alerted and a patrol made its way to the event location. Together with the train driver, the officials were able to meet the three people, two women aged 22 and 36 and a 38-year-old. The control of the people showed that they come from Greece. The three were made clear how dangerous their behavior was, and they received advertisements for violations of the railway construction and company regulations as well as for dangerous interference in rail traffic.

The federal police urgently warns that rail systems are not playing meadows. Trains often get closer almost silently, which increases the risk of an accident considerably.
