In the early morning hours of Thursday, more precisely at 01:16 a.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on Bundesautobahn 5 in the direction of travel north. This occurred between the further city and Langen-Mörfelden junctions and ended tragically with a fatal outcome.
A 22-year-old man from Ludwigshafen was involved in the accident. The driver, whose course of the accident is still being examined, lost control of his Mercedes AMG CLS 63 and turned off the road to the right.
