on Wednesday morning, at shortly before 11 a.m., there was a dramatic incident in the parking lot of a hardware store on Gorxheimer Straße: an 81-year-old senior driver who ranked with his VW lost control of his vehicle. Suddenly the senior slipped off the brake and unintentionally stepped through the accelerator pedal - with shocking consequences!

The car accelerated violently, ran over a curb and crashed into the exhibition goods with full force in front of the hardware store's drive-in center. Fortunately, the accident balance remained without injuries, but the damage is not a cardboard stick: a total of 10,000 euros on the VW and another 5,000 euros on the damaged goods go to the cap of the involuntary crash. The fire brigade had to move in to recover the vehicle that had been concerned.
