on November 14, 2024 at 8:20 a.m. there was a serious traffic accident at the busy intersection Torgelower Straße/Lindenstraße/Friedenstrasse. A 42-year-old driver overlooked a 39-year-old cyclist who was suddenly in danger when turning! The result: a dramatic collision that led to serious injuries to the cyclist. The man was immediately flown to the Neubrandenburg Clinic with the rescue helicopter- the first reports speak of thigh, facial and hip fractures!

A helicopter with loud rotor blades landed directly at the scene of the accident, which temporarily quit the intersection. So that the injured cyclist could be cared for as best as possible, passers -by and drivers had to wait for a short time. The police did not leave a stone on the other! At the order of the public prosecutor, an expert from Dekra came to the city to clarify the exact course of the accident. There are already allegations against the person who caused the accident: he now has to answer for negligent bodily harm. The material damage is estimated at around 1200 euros. All participants are German citizens. It is only to be hoped that the cyclist can recover as soon as possible!
