In the middle of the busy streets of Siegburg, a brazen shoplifter was escaped directly from a drugstore on Monday. The 35-year-old perpetrator grabbed two perfume bottles, left the business without paying a cent and headed for a fleeing towards the train station. What a brazen action!

But the unknown did not get far! Two attentive witnesses, determined to stop the thief, took up the persecution. They did not give up and were able to take off the stolen goods again to the crisp crook. When the alarmed police officers arrived, they found the perpetrator on the new Poststrasse and immediately arrested him. That was a clever move by the witnesses!

The man, a vagabond without a permanent residence, was brought to the police station, where he had to spend the night behind Swedish curtains. And that's not all-the 35-year-old only came out of prison in September after having served a two and a half year imprisonment for ownership offenses there.
