Wave of crime in Limburg: Burglary and traffic accidents cause excitement!

A weekend full of crimes shakes the region! The criminal police have their hands full after several crimes in and around Limburg were registered. The deeds move the minds and make the citizens listen! On Thursday evening, November 7, 2024, unknown perpetrators entered a house in Selters OT Niedertelter. They cut up a chain link fence, broke through windows and doors and snaps valuable jewelry and other objects. Who saw something? The police ask for information on 06431/9140-0!

But that wasn't everything! On Sunday, November 10, 2024, the brazen cigarette robbers became active in Weinbach between 5:45 and 6:15 a.m. They stole a complete cigarette machine with a cutting cutter! They saw witnesses in an older VW Passat with "Dil" license plates. The damage: a whopping 2,500 euros!

On the evening of November 9th there was vandalism: unknown people sprayed a lettering to a motorway bridge in Elz. As soon as they were ready, they were already up and away! Who knows the perpetrators? The criminal police are dependent on information!

The same weekend also occurred tragic traffic accidents. In Oberbruch, two cyclists collided on Sunday morning at around 0:50 - obviously set by alcohol. One cyclist wore slightly, the other serious injuries. Emergency doctors both brought to clinics. And the chaos continued: on the same day, just a few hours later, a driver fled after a collision with a parked Nissan Micra in Merenberg OT Barig-Selbenhausen. The damage: 6,000 euros! The police are looking for witnesses who could have seen something.
