Controls at the end of the season: Police reveals tuning damage!

In the midst of cloudy weather and the impending season output for the tuning scene, intensive traffic and vehicle controls took place today. The West Palatinate police took this opportunity to take a closer look at the beloved, often modified season vehicles. The fateful hour is approaching, because many of these cars will soon disappear in the garage, probably prepared, but dreary and lonely.

But not everyone could celebrate the end of the season. A total of 42 vehicles were confronted with an expired operating license, while in 10 cases even criminal proceedings were initiated due to forgery of documents and driving without a license. A particularly striking young man caused a sensation because he rushed through the streets with his vehicle in a special sound mode and was confronted with illegal modifications during control. This could now cost him several hundred euros in fine and an expensive renovation, which an examiner has to be removed.

a positive climate despite difficulties

The large -scale controls surprisingly also led to nice conversations between police officers and vehicle owners. Many of the controlled drivers were insightful and well informed about the legal provisions. It is pleased that the ignorance of those affected is significantly back. Some drivers defy the cloudy weather and enjoy it again to drive their convertibles openly and thus set a sign of the tuning scene.

The insightful reactions give hope that the tuning scene will be more secure in the next season. Now it is only to be desired that all racing teams will survive the cold season unscathed and the anticipation for the next spring can already be felt!
