Young people in Essen: Resistance and weapon discovered at the main train station!
On the night of October 7, an incident occurred in the main station in Essen, which attracted the attention of the federal police. Three young people were discovered during a check when one of them became aware of the uniformed officials and immediately flee. Nevertheless, the 16-year-old Ukrainian citizen soon returned to his companions, which ultimately led to a person check.
When the federal police asked the young man to show himself, he initially showed little cooperation. Ultimately, he gave them his health insurance card, which the officials did not satisfy. Because of his age and circumstances, it was decided to bring the young people to the Federal Police Guard. His 17-year-old companion, also a Ukrainian, was taken into custody due to his age.
resistance to the police
Although the officials tried to accompany the 16-year-old to the guard, he vehemently opposed. As he held on the railing, the police tried to grab him, which led to resistance. Finally, the teenager was brought to the ground and tied up. During this measure, the officials came across a butterflynesser that the accused wore in his waistband, which was immediately confiscated.
In the wake room, the situation was no less tense. The two young people were oversained and disturbed the sense of order, while they discussed with the officials and even claimed that they had been attacked. A breath alcohol test carried out showed that the 17-year-old had a value of 1.22 per thousand, while his 16-year-old friend was alcoholic with 0.38 per thousand.
The situation developed further and the youth emergency service was informed. After their arrival, the helpers took over the youngsters and brought them home to clarify the matter.
legal consequences
For the 16-year-old Gelsenkirchener, the consequences of his behavior will result in serious legal consequences. He has to answer for resistance to enforcement officers and a violation of the weapons law. In addition, an investigation into defamation was initiated against the 17-year-old Essener.
The federal police thus pursue a clear course against youth crime and illegal gun ownership, which is becoming increasingly important in public discussion about security and order. This incident is another example of how important the work of the police in station environments is, where younger people often stay and potentially there is an increased risk of public security.
