Large rooms in the speed check: lightning started for kids!

Bahnstraße, 64846 Groß-Zimmern, Deutschland - speed under control! in Groß-Zimmer, on Friday morning (November 8th), the police ensured quiet traffic as part of the new "Blitz for Kids" campaign. Under the attentive eyes of five motivated students of the Peace School, 24 vehicles were targeted by the emergency services. This innovative control measure made the speed of the drivers on the subject and promoted responsible driving behavior in a playful way.

The results were mixed! Of the 24 checked vehicles, 11 drivers received a "yellow card". But don't panic! This yellow warning is only a gentle reminder to rethink the driving behavior and to consider the possible consequences of excessive speed. On the other hand, there were also 13 exemplary drivers who followed the speed regulations and were awarded a "green card" - a real success!

These speed controls are not only fun for the students, they also have an important message: safety in road traffic. With this campaign, the police and the students from the Peace School impressively show that speed and responsibility have to go hand in hand. It remains exciting how many other vehicles will follow the good role models during future controls!
