Border control in Neuried: Police and customs reveal illegal entry!

A massive control campaign took up around 20 civil servants of the customs, the federal police, the state police as well as French gendarmerie and border police at the Altenheim marina in Neuried on October 22. Under the strict eye of the financial control of the undeclared work of the main customs office Lörrach, an entire sea of over 280 people and 60 vehicles, including buses, trucks and taxis, was subjected to an intensive review. The excitement was tangible when the inspectors met with any violations!

Results of the control

The balance of the multi -hour campaign is alarming: three men - with Ukrainian, Moroccan and Malician origin - were caught without the necessary residence permit. Investigations due to attempted illegal entry were initiated immediately! In addition, there are two people who have to answer drugs because of the possession of small quantities. Traffic violations were found in five vehicles, and two administrative offenses concern violations of the Waste Dediation Act. The customs officials also did not leave an open monetary claim at a three -digit amount and executed them without hesitation.

The crucial focus of this Franco-German operational action was in the rigorous combating of undeclared work, unauthorized work intake and illegal migration. There were even six suspected work of undeclared work, which now have the fact that the customs authorities act! Here the offense is vigorously announced!
