A disturbing incident occurred on November 1st, 2024, around 11.30 a.m., in the picturesque Wyhl am Kaiserstuhl. A walker was spoken to by an unknown man in a shocking way on a quiet dirt road near a tree nursery on Endinger Strasse. The fraudster did not allow it to have it, but exposed himself what was certainly a traumatic experience for the woman. As many details about the shocking encounter are already known, the vehicle used could also provide information on the perpetrator.

The dubious man was probably in a silver SUV or jeep. Especially attentive eyes could have recognized the dog transport box in the trunk and the black roof rail on the vehicle roof. After harassing the woman, he quickly turned out of dust and drove away, which could only strengthen the fear of the population. An immediate description of the man was also given by the victim: he is about 35 years old, about 175 cm tall, has short brown hair, a corpulent figure, dresses in beige long pants and a lumberjack shirt. His High German without an accent also makes him an even more mysterious unknown.

The investigation has taken over the Emmendingen criminal commissioner. The police are now asking for help: witnesses who have observed something suspicious or who can provide information about the identified person are asked to report immediately (phone: 07641-582-0). A possible connection of the searched to a dog could also be particularly relevant, because it is possible that he regularly performs a dog in the Wyhl area.
