In the small community of Sögel there was a worrying incident in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday: Unknown perpetrators reached a company premises on Püttkesberge between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. There they broke into a van and stole a variety of tools. But that was not all - in the same night the burglars also targeted a hardware store on the same street.

In this second break -in, the perpetrators also managed to violently penetrate a vehicle, but in contrast to the first incident, the prey seemed to be minimal or not at all existent. The total amount of property damage caused by these criminal activities amounts to around 16,500 euros. The police are already investigating and trying to find out whether these two burglaries may be connected to each other.
