E-scooter crash in Mannheim: 17-year-old injured without a driving license!
Amselstraße 1, 68309 Mannheim, Deutschland - on Tuesday, around 1:15 p.m., a traffic accident occurred in Mannheim, which caused excitement at least at short notice. In the confluence area of the Amselstraße and Lilienthalstrasse there was a collision between a car and an e-scooter. A 36-year-old driver who was traveling towards Mannheim-Schönau with her Seat was involved. However, the e-scooter driver, a 17-year-old, crossed the road at an inadmissible place and thus caused the collision.
Despite an immediate braking, the driver could not prevent the impact. The young man was thrown by the scooter at the collision and came to lie on the street with minor injuries. After the first medical care, he was taken to a nearby hospital, while the driver was lucky.

The Lilienthalstraße had to be closed for about half an hour due to the incident in the direction of Mannheim-Schönau from Frankenthaler Straße to enable the accident recording by the police and the rescue measures. The property damage to the vehicles involved amounts to around 2,000 euros.
