Drug raid in the Odenwald: Four suspects are detained!

In the Odenwaldkreis, the police carried out a huge blow to drug trafficking on Tuesday, November 5th! Investigators of the criminal police in Erbach, supported by emergency services from the riot police, searched several apartments at the request of the Darmstadt public prosecutor. Four suspects were in the sights of the officials who were independent of each other in the focus of the investigation.

Among the suspects is a 40-year-old man from Oberzent, who is urgently suspected of doing illegal drug trafficking. During the search of his apartment, the investigators came across a small amount of cocaine, around 50 grams of marijuana, three cannabis plants and a whipping ring. This man now has to answer in court! A 41-year-old man from Oberzent was also targeted, in which only 0.5 grams of hashish were secured.

The searches brought even more to light! In the apartment of a 49-year-old man from Erbach, the emergency services found almost 24 grams of amphetamine, 700 euros cash and several weapons. This throws a dark light on the activities in the region! In addition, the law enforcement officers discovered substances in a 58-year-old suspect from Brensbach that fall under the doping and drug law. He too will have to answer in a criminal proceedings.
