On Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 12:10 p.m., a harmless shopping in a shop in Sternstrasse turned into a frightening incident for an 80-year-old woman. While she wanted to pay for her purchases at the cash register, she was the victim of a brazen theft! An unknown woman had involved the senior citizen in an apparently friendly conversation. But the shocking moment followed when the old lady found that the zipper of her handbag was open and her wallet simply disappeared!

The police describe the perpetrator as a 30 to 35 -year -old, approx. 1.65 meter tall woman with a slim stature and black hair. Curiously, she spoke broken German and could therefore stand out. The search for this brazen thief is now in full swing. The Ludwigshafen 2 police inspection calls on all potential witnesses to provide information.
