In the Rems-Murr district, there have been several remarkable incidents in the past few days, which are characterized by both thieves and unfortunate encounters. The police were first informed about the theft of copper cables, which took place between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning on the site of the Waiblingen Stadtwerke. The perpetrators gained access to containers in the courtyard and stole an unknown amount of cables. The exact circumstances and the value of the prey are currently still unclear. The police are looking for witnesses who have seen suspicious people or vehicles, and asks them to report to the Waiblingen police station on 07151/950422.

In another incident, a residential building on Wendelkönigstrasse between Thursday morning and Friday morning was the victim of a break -in. The burglars came through a light shaft and a basement window inside the house, where they searched numerous rooms. Whether objects have been stolen is currently being examined. Here, too, the population is asked for help - information is accepted on the same telephone number as before.

wrong foot when parking

An unpleasant traffic accident occurred on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Christallerstrasse in Winnenden. A 64-year-old woman who tried to park them into a parking space, confused the gas with the brakes when operating the pedals. As a result, she drove through a hedge with full force and crashed into a parked Mercedes. The damage caused by this failed maneuver amounts to around 10,000 euros. The incident clearly shows how quickly unintentional mistakes in road traffic can lead to serious damage.

The individual incidents from the Rems-Murr district illustrate both the continuing challenges in the field of crime and the dangers in everyday road traffic. The police remain active and asks the population for support in order to counteract further offenses and accidents.
