Double burglaries in Rüsselsheim: Police asks for clues!
On Sunday, October 13th, the residents of Rüsselsheim were worried by two burglaries that followed. In a period of only a few hours, unknown perpetrators violently entered two different apartments and stealed valuable items and cash.
The first incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 6:50 p.m. in an apartment building "Am Marktplatz". Here the burglars managed to break up a door to the first floor, whereupon they entered the apartment and took cash with them. It is worrying that the perpetrators apparently remained undisturbed and were active during the day when there were probably many neighbors at home.

The police in Rüsselsheim are now investigating in these cases and asks the population to contact Commissioner 21/22 on 06142/6960 in relevant information. It remains to be seen whether the investigators can quickly get to the perpetrators to prevent further burglaries and to restore security for the residents.
Such incidents are always alarming and illustrate the need for vigilance in the community. The police hope to find out more about the incidents through the references from the population and to hold those responsible for accounting.
