Return of the sponsor of Berlin: Al-Zein could come back in 2025!
What a turn in the case of one of the most notorious clan bosses in Germany! Mahmoud al-Zein, also known as "the sponsor of Berlin", has his return to Germany earlier than originally planned. Despite his dramatic escape to Turkey in 2021, to avoid deportation, Al-Zein could again enter German soil again in the summer of 2025. Surprisingly, his seven -year -old entry lock was reduced to four and a half years. This exciting gang effect was first made by the picture made public.
But what makes this man so notorious? Al-Zein is at the top of a clan with around 3000 members, which the authorities classified as organized crime. His book "The Godfather of Berlin: My Way, My Family, My Rules" published in 2020 reveals his criminal machinations and the brutal "Rules of respect" according to which he lives. "When the limit of respect is exceeded, blood flows", one of its best-known sayings, shows the iron fist, with which he rules the clan world.
judicial move and the conditions
The entry lock was originally imposed by the Berlin authorities, but a clever legal move enabled its shortening. However, court spokesman Stephan Groscurth emphasized that this decision does not automatically guarantee return. First of all, al-Zein will have to apply for a visa in which the crimes accused of him will be checked closely again.
The criminal career of Al-Zein started in the 80s. In 1982 he fled to Germany and, supposedly stateless Kurd, made an asylum application, which was, however, rejected. Despite his stay, he officially lived on unemployment benefit, while he built a criminal empire in the area of the red light environment and drug trade. Between 1985 and 2008 he was in prison for a total of eight years, and from 2005 to 2021 he was managed around 70 times as a suspect and sentenced eleven times.
spark controversial discussions
The news of the possible return al-Zeins ensures heated debates in Germany. Critics criticize that other people in far less problematic situations are not granted such a forbearance. For example, there are currently 10 urgently needed Colombian nursing staff in Lower Saxony before deportation, as well as yahoo News reported.
While al-Zein could soon return, the question remains open how his future presence will influence the already tense criminal policy situation in Germany.
