Lang returns to Kapfenberg: Change to Admiral 2nd League!

Kapfenberg, Österreich - The suspended defender Michael Lang, previously active at the GAK, has dared to take a new departure in his career and switch to the Kapfenberger SV to Admiral 2nd League. Although the transfer has not yet been officially confirmed, the ÖFB transfer system already indicates that long will be part of the team in Kapfenberg. The 26-year-old has an eventful past-before he came to the GAK, he played in Kapfenberg between 2018 and 2021 and, among other things, brought four goals and eight templates in 66 games for the GAK. In addition, Lang had recently completed a trial training session at the Slovenian first division club NS Mura, which indicates the search for new challenges.

As early as January 2024, Lang extended his contract with the GAK by two years until summer 2026, which underlines the close commitment and the high appreciation of his services among those responsible. Sports director Dieter Elsneg praised Lang's role in the team: "Michi is not only a very important factor for our club because of its connection, but also its continuously strong performance lend us stability." In the current season, Lang scored a goal in 15 missions and gave three templates. These successes have led to its early change to be considered at Kapfenberg as an option. While the fans are looking forward to the official confirmation of the transfer, Lang is facing an exciting new stage of his career.
