Georg Ragyoczy: Despite the musician pension - promoting young talent!
The Gablitz musician and producer Georg Ragyoczy has withdrawn into the "musician board" after a long career in the music scene. After 30 years in which he worked in his recording studio, he covered his trade license at the end of November, on the occasion of his 65th birthday. Ragyoczy looks back on an eventful life in which he organized almost 200 events in the region, including concerts and medieval festivals, such as meinzirk.at reported. Despite his retreat, he remains active as a chairman in the "Musikwerkstatt" association and continues to work for the promotion of young musicians.
In this context, Ragyoczy also continues his support project that has existed for many years. It offers young talents from Gablitz the chance to record a demo CD. Also this year he is giving away a scholarship that interested musicians can send their musical curriculum vitae, a photo and a audio sample to gr@tplus.at by February 28th. Bands are excluded from this competition, which puts the individual promotion of solo artists and small formations in the foreground, such as Noen.at reported.
Due to health problems caused by its gutness, Ragyoczy has difficulty playing instruments, which limits his return to active music. Nevertheless, his commitment to promoting young talent remains unbroken, and he wants to offer young talents the opportunity to enter the music scene.
