New dispute over the closed island paradise: what's coming now?
The "Inselparadies" restaurant in the Baltic Sea resort of Baabe on Rügen has lost its operator. After years of disputes between the owner and the tenant, the restaurant was closed. Inselparadies Hotel & Gastro GmbH has been running the restaurant since August 2019. As early as the summer of 2023, there were conflicts, especially with regard to a striking pink color of the listed hyparschalenbau, which caused unrest.
Owner of the property is the TIG Tatenberger Immobiliengesellschaft mbH from Kühlungsborn, which denies rumors through a sales plan. Instead, the company is now looking for a new tenant for the 465 square meter commercial unit, which is managed by KOOPMANN Immobilien at Meer GmbH. The "island paradise" will soon be advertised for rental.
