Vienna is expanding psychosocial care: New ambulatorium for children!

An important step in the psychosocial care of children and adolescents in Vienna: The fifth child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient clinic of the psychosocial services (PSD-Vienna) will soon open on Alsergrund. The head of the new outpatient clinic, Dr.in Katrin Skala, will provide a variety of treatment offers with a multi -professional team of specialists, nursing staff and therapists, including psychoeducative programs and relatives advice. "The psychosocial health of the young generation is of the greatest importance and we are here to offer support," she added. In order to ensure seamless care for young people during their development, the new facility will work closely with existing help offers and inpatient transitional psychiatry that has been in function since 2024.
