ÖVP presents strong list of candidates for Vienna election in April!

Wien, Österreich - The Vienna People's Party (ÖVP) today published its list of candidates for the upcoming elections on April 27. The team is led by Karl Mahrer, the state party chairman and non -managing city council, who describes the list with experienced and new talents as a “strong team in the middle of social”. The candidates were also chosen according to meinzirk.at in a meeting of the state party executive "with overwhelming majority". On the list, Kasia Greco and Harald Zierfuß occupy places two and three. The topics of the candidates range from business to health and social security. Mahrer emphasizes that it is time to change politics in Vienna and rely on bourgeois values.

criticism and controversy

Despite internal and external challenges, including the so -called Causa Vienna value, Mahrer remains as a top candidate. The most recent charges against him and other party colleagues have heated the waves, but now the ÖVP shows that it is closed behind Mahrer. "The Vienna People's Party is the only force that the outdated government of the SPÖ can change," said Mahrer in a clear announcement to the competition. The list also includes prominent personalities from the party, such as the experienced Ingrid Korosec and education spokesman Harald Zierfuß.

The ÖVP sees itself in response to the current challenges in Vienna, such as increasing living costs and security problems, and thus clearly positions itself as an alternative to the previous course. With over 30 candidates on the list, the People's Party hopes to gain the trust of the Viennese and to bring a breath of fresh air to the city's politics.
